Fleas, ticks, mites, internal worms… Parasites are a real and constant risk. At Interzoo Viriato we advise and treat your pet with the best veterinary products.
It is not just about hygiene — it is a health necessity for your pet and your family.
Fleas, ticks and mites can transmit serious diseases like Lyme disease, anaplasmosis or flea allergy dermatitis. They are active all year round.
Roundworms, tapeworms and other helminths settle in the intestine without visible signs for months, causing malnutrition, anaemia and in serious cases, organ damage.
Some pet parasites can be transmitted to people, especially children. Regular deworming protects the whole family.
Every 1-3 months for external parasites; every 3-6 months for internal. Your vet will adjust frequency according to your pet lifestyle.
Indoor cats also need regular deworming — fleas can enter the home on clothing or shoes, and cats can ingest parasite eggs when grooming.
Spot-ons, tablets, collars, sprays… We advise on the most convenient and effective product for your pet and lifestyle.

Puppies can have parasites from birth. Internal deworming starts at 2 weeks and is repeated until 6 months on a monthly basis. External starts according to the product, generally from 8 weeks.
Yes. Fleas can arrive home through clothing, shoes or other animals. Cats can also ingest parasite eggs when grooming. Regular deworming is recommended even for 100% indoor cats.
Each format has different advantages. Spot-ons act fast and last a month. Tablets are ideal for internal parasites. Collars give prolonged protection (3-8 months) but only external. We advise based on your case.
Depends on the animal and lifestyle. Generally: external every 1-3 months (spot-on) or per collar instructions; internal every 3-6 months. Animals that go to the countryside or live with children need higher frequency.
We recommend waiting 48 hours after applying a spot-on before bathing, so the product distributes correctly across the skin.
